Artist Statement
Hello, I’m Natalie! I work in fiber, paint and installation within a matrilineal legacy of invented craft techniques, domestic materials and exploring the unseeables and unprovables that filter into our realities.
I create through layers of texture, color and handwork, building a slow history of details for each piece in the process. My practice is intentionally sustainable and prioritizes materials from my surroundings, like natural inks and repurposed fibers.
