Social Media & Marketing Manager (full-time)

SOCIAL MEDIA

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience 

  • Available 35-39 hours a week, must have weekend availability 

  • Hands on experience in content management

  • Excellent copywriting skills

  • Highly organized and efficient 

  • Flexible with the ability to pivot

  • Team-oriented with great communication skills

  • Eager to take brand’s message to the next level

  • Ability to measure quantitative and qualitative data analysis of social media insights

  • Proficient with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Photoshop, and Pinterest

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

  • Experience with Planoly, Canva, Hashtag research a plus


Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a consistent social media calendar that showcases the company, storefront + events to our online audience and curate the content to align with the Shudio brand

  • Research and utilize all new relevant digital platforms including new social media tools and trends to expand market reach

  • Design digital fliers for new brands and events to be shared on social media platforms and the Shudio website, and in print

  • Analyze social media insights through continuous engagement via follower interaction, reposting of Shudio-tagged content, and hashtag research and progam analytics

  • Dedicate time to community outreach via networking and attending relevant events [covid permitting]

  • Manage email newsletter including, but not limited to: timely messages about events, sales, product launches as well as segmenting + improving audience retention and interation
  • Identify marketing + advertising opportunities on social media, local publications and local event organizations

IN-STORE

      Qualifications::

  • 1+ year of retail experience

  • Solid knowledge of common houseplants with a desire to expand on such

  • Ability to style customers and offer fashion advice

  • Team-oriented with great communication skills

  • Able to multitask, prioritize and time manage

  • Has a deep passion for sustainability and community

  • Eager to learn about new brands, products, and makers

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor

  • Assist customers with questions, suggestions, and guidance on all Shudio products and services

  • Aid the Shop Manager and team with merchandising, display, and inventory 

  • General shop maintenance and cleaning as needed
